We got back last night from our trip to the Maritimes and are basking in the after glow of a really wonderful trip. (I have already submitted a report on the PEI leg of the trip so I’ll focus my attention on the Nova Scotia leg.) On the plane ride back Elsie and I were going back and forth about the things that we were thankful for about the trip. So let me list some of these for you:
• We were kept in good health all the way through – never want to take that for granted! Especially since there was a pervasive flu/cold going around and affecting many of our friends there.
• We really felt undergirded by your prayers! For that we are hugely thankful. Your prayers in a very concrete and meaningful way made the difference. The ministry went very well in spite of the fact that we were breaking new ground in some places. We are already getting testimonies of breakthroughs in relationships and some folks praying for healing and seeing that happen! Awesome!
• Our friends, Carl and Sheryn Turner from Houston were with us in Nova Scotia and we had a very enjoyable time with them. They were a huge support in the ministry and did a good job of teaching and ministering on Bitterroot Judgments and Expectancies. Everyone gravitated to them and was blessed by their ministry. Looks like we’ll be together again in the future as the Lord leads!
• The Maritimers were very generous in their giving, in spite of the global economic crisis, and we felt strengthened by that. My upcoming mission trip to Jamaica is funded now by their liberal giving. May the Lord return in supernatural and lavish ways to each one who gave! Amen!
• Elsie’s art seminars were a big hit! The feedback we got has encouraged us to continue motivating creative people to take their God-given place in the church but more importantly to increase their own influence, as the Lord anoints, in the broader world of arts and entertainment. Be missionaries, as it were, to that sphere of human endeavour and influence.
• Our relationship with the folks in the Maritimes continues to develop nicely. This now has been our sixth visit in the past 18 months. It was our first to PEI and so the opportunities continue to unfold. We both have a strong feeling that the Lord is about to pour out of his Spirit in a remarkable way in that region of Canada and so we love going out there to ‘stoke the fire’ so to speak. We love the friendly, hospitable nature of the people out east. It is one of the reasons that our trips are so enjoyable and satisfying.
• We are grateful for Noel Mal, his lovely family and church for inviting us over to the exotic ‘oiland’ of PEI. We are also thankful to Charlie and Elaine Passey for arranging the meetings for us in Nova Scotia.
Those are some of our thanksgiving as we were flying back. For anything of eternal significance, for anywhere the Kingdom of God invaded the earth as a result of our ministry we give supreme thanks and honour to the Presence of our living and anointing Abba God.
In His Name, with much love and affection,
Ramesh and Elsie
PS: Sheryn is a photo-taking queen so when she sends us some I’ll upload them for your edification.
